Description

Upgrade your frail factory transmission pan with this upgraded heavy-duty cast aluminum transmission fluid pan from PPE. Designed specifically for your 09-14 or 17-22 F-150/F-250 Superduty equipped with a 6R80 or 6R100 transmission, this fluid pan features external fins/gussets and internal baffles to add strength, rigidity, and improved heat dissipation, increased fluid capacity, as well as a stainless steel magnetic drain plug to capture harmful materials and protect your engine.

Improved Thermal Efficiency: To achieve lower fluid temperatures in high stress situations, PPE designed this pan with 3/4 inch external fins that increase the pan's surface area to aid in fluid cooling while driving. Internal baffles and gussets are also present to add strength, and prevent fluid starvation, foaming, and sloshing. On top of this, you'll be able to increase your transmission fluid capacity by 4.25 quarts to further increase thermal capacity and peace-of-mind. You won't have to worry about expensive, proprietary, or hard to find gaskets and filters either when installing this piece or servicing your transmission in the future; this pan is designed to work flawlessly with the OEM gasket and filter. Finally, this pan includes a stainless steel drain plug with a powerful high temperature rated neodymium magnet to capture harmful metal particles that your filter may have missed, making fluid changes simple and satisfying. Whether you use your vehicle for heavy towing, hauling, off-roading, or long trips, this transmission pan offers features that anyone can benefit from.
