Simple Peel and Stick Installation
It's a simple installation. MP Concepts Eleanor Style Rear Quarter Window Scoops come with double-sided automotive bonding tape. Before the installation makes sure your window is squeaky clean. You can use an alcohol prep pad or anything that will cut through any grease or wax that could be on the window. Then, peel the tape in the back of the scoops and set firmly in place. Leave to set for 24 hours if possible for optimal adhesion before any high speed runs!
Injected Moulded ABS Construction
The Quarter window scoop itself is moulded out of high strength, light weight, Acrylonitrile butadiene Styrene (ABS) plastic material which is known for its superior durability and impact resistance.
Steeda Note: These are designed to fit Mustangs WITHOUT the optional chrome trim around windows (e.g Bullitt) as they can cause issues with the louvers to fit inside the chrome trim.
Steeda Install Tip: Customers have told us that the tape coming with these louvers is sometimes not great quality. We HIGHLY recommend purchasing some high quality 3M VHB (Very High Bond) automotive fixing tape. Also make SURE the area is properly prepped. If you have treated your car to ceramic coat for example it will need to be removed from the fixing area to ensure good adhesion. If prep or tape is not good, then your louvers could easily go on a high speed excursion of their own on a trip down the motorway!
Warranty Info
Steeda offer a limited lifetime warranty for material and manufacturing defects.
The warranty is for the original purchaser.
WHAT IS NOT COVERED
The following items are not covered under the Limited Warranty:
1. Failure or damage resulting from normal wear and tear, improper installation, repair, abuse, misuse, neglect, negligence, accidents, corrosion, or the alteration or modification of a part by the customer.
2. Failure or damage caused by work not performed by Steeda.
3. Failure or damage caused by a defective part or accessory not installed by Steeda main dealer.
4. Labour for the removal from a vehicle and reinstallation of a part or component sold “over the counter” or “over the internet.”
5. Service adjustments, such as calibration or alignments.
6. Rust or corrosion to parts caused by environmental conditions such as, but not limited to, salt or other caustic chemicals is not covered by Steeda's warranty.
7. Pitting is caused by brake dust, chemical abuse, or lack of maintenance and is not covered by Steeda's warranty.
8. Incidental or consequential damages. Steeda is not responsible for any time for which you may lose the use of your vehicle, any inconvenience you might be caused, the loss of your transportation or any part thereof, or any other incidental or consequential damages you may have.
