The latest Ford Performance 5.0L Coyote "Aluminator" crate engine is the Gen 3 version of the modern 5.0L 32-valve DOHC V-8 that uses advanced features like Twin Independent Variable Camshaft Timing (Ti-VCT) to deliver big power. Unlike the factory 5.0L engine, the "Aluminator" is built with low compression forged pistons and H-beam connecting rods to meet the demands of forced induction. So if you fit a big power Whipple or a Hellion Twin Turbo kit, or indeed any other form of big power setup with boost, then you know you have an engine built for it!
The Gen 3 5.0L Aluminator NA is a direct bolt in for 2018-2022 Mustang GT.
