IceBox™ Dual Air Intake for Ford Mustang 5.0L ('24+)

The S650 Mustang GT and Dark Horse cars are already fantastic to begin with, but why not make them a bit better than stock? The stock intake system is designed well, but still we felt that we could take the good from the stock system and make it even better. After a long engineering process, we are proud to release the IceBox™ Dual Air Intake for the S650 Mustang GT and Dark Horse.

Limited Lifetime Warranty
For this new intake style we opted for a roto molded design produced from XPLE plastic. This type of plastic is very strong and temperature resistant to help keep intake temps down. The airbox is molded to fit directly into the OEM Ram Air ducts in the grille pulling in that fresh cold air to build power. Both clear plexiglass windows are included along with all necessary hardware (ships with orange peel-off protective coating).

Retains OEM MAF Connection
Part of why the S650 Mustang is so effective and efficient at what it does, are all of the sensors monitoring everything as you drive. The Mass Air Flow Sensor is no different.  To properly communicate what is happening in the air inlet to the engine, these sensors are required for the best operation. We made sure that they are retained on our intake and without being an eye sore.

Smooth Diameter Grade Tubes
The XPLE intake tube passes through the airbox and bolts to the outside wall. The filter is attached to the tube and butted up to the inside of the airbox to create a tighter seal and keep hot air out. The tube has a gradual change from 5" to 3.5" to smoothly compress the air to provide a minimal amount of energy loss which translates to a higher air speed through the tube. We include a 5" air filter specially designed to give the most, free flowing air flow possible. This system comes with a DFlow™ Intake Filter, but we will have the option of the SynoilD™ in the near future.
S650 Intake Construction
Part of what makes the stock intake system well-rounded is the great design of the stock box. It brings in cool air efficiently and isolates the filter from the hot air in the engine bay. Where the stock box is a bit lack-luster is where the cp-e® IceBox™ Intake shines. The intake boxes and tubes are roto molded from XPLE plastic. XPLE is great for this application for not only because it cannot corrode, but also its thermal properties allow the interior of the boxes to stay cool, even when the boxes themselves heat up. The boxes utilize both stock fresh air ducts to grab cold air. The box is topped off by clear plexiglass to seal the filter from the heat, providing a sweet view and easy access to the filter for cleaning and replacement. Lastly, the box easily mounts in the stock location with the laser cut brackets and CNC-lathed mounting feet.

Steeda offer a limited lifetime warranty for material and manufacturing defects.

The warranty is for the original purchaser.

WHAT IS NOT COVERED
The following items are not covered under the Limited Warranty:

1. Failure or damage resulting from normal wear and tear, improper installation, repair, abuse, misuse, neglect, negligence, accidents, corrosion, or the alteration or modification of a part by the customer.
2. Failure or damage caused by work not performed by Steeda.
3. Failure or damage caused by a defective part or accessory not installed by Steeda main dealer.
4. Labour for the removal from a vehicle and reinstallation of a part or component sold “over the counter” or “over the internet.”
5. Service adjustments, such as calibration or alignments.
6. Rust or corrosion to parts caused by environmental conditions such as, but not limited to, salt or other caustic chemicals is not covered by Steeda's warranty.
7. Pitting is caused by brake dust, chemical abuse, or lack of maintenance and is not covered by Steeda's warranty.
8. Incidental or consequential damages. Steeda is not responsible for any time for which you may lose the use of your vehicle, any inconvenience you might be caused, the loss of your transportation or any part thereof, or any other incidental or consequential damages you may have.
